Chef Nora's Hibiscus Taco Recipe

Our Hibiscus Tacos are becoming increasingly popular with our guests. These tacos have been a favorite dish with our staff since Chef Nora introduced hibiscus flowers to the De La Vega kitchen.

Here Chef Nora shares her delicious and easy to prepare Hibiscs Tacos recipe. Now you can make these tasty tapas in your own kitchen.

Ingredients

10 oz dried hibiscus flower

2 Cups chopped White onions

chopped garlic

1 cup red wine

1 cup balsamic dressing

a bit of honey

a pinch of sugar

1 cup Green onions

Corn Tortillas

Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Cilantro

Directions

Mix the hibiscus, onion, garlic, wine, balsamic dressing, honey, sugar, and onion in a medium skillet and cook over medium heat until hibiscus flower gets soft and absorbs all the flavor. Season with salt to taste. Remove from the heat.

To make tacos

Warm up tortillas. Then add cheese, cilantro and hibiscus flower mixture inside of tortilla until cheese melts, close tortilla and enjoy!!!!!!!
